My name is Raffaella Bidotti (31), I am a abstract painter, living in Amsterdam.​​​​

For me, painting is an avenue for playful expression and experimentation. I often let my intuition take the lead, allowing the colours and materials I’m drawn to, along with the music I’m immersed in, to guide my creative process. It’s a moment of genuine self-expression, a chance to recharge and be authentically myself.

Sometimes a painting grows out of a single fleeting moment, a memory or emotion that feels urgent to capture. Other times it develops over longer stretches of time, shaped by different impressions coming together. Each work becomes its own journey, one that unfolds until it feels complete to me.
